For the first time in my life, I am lost for words. I don’t even know where to begin. The ladies at Paws at Rest took one of the hardest days of my life and turned it into a cherished memory. The respect, love, & compassion that these women show through their work goes beyond anything that I could have ever imagined. Thank you so much Francine & Maria for taking care of my Yoda and my family. Your understanding, empathy, and love shine through in the work that you do. Dear Francine and Maria,
I cannot thank you enough for the support and caring you both showed me and my family when we chose to give my Piggy her wings. You were there for us every step of the way, staying with us throughout the heartbreaking procedure and quietly lending us your strong shoulders for support.
Everything was handled beautifully and I especially appreciate how you treated me, my family, and my beautiful girl with respect and caring. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Your presentation when we arrived to pick up my sweetheart’s ashes touched me deeply and even though my heart was breaking, I felt at peace being there surrounded by people who care.
Thank you for doing what you do with compassion and dignity.

Francine and Maria,
My husband and I would like to thank you very much for the kind and compassionate service you gave to us and our dear boy Buster. We were quite surprised by the way you presented his cremated remains to us and for the lovely picture framed photo and poem of him. We also felt that providing us with the little brass plate with his name that you had us put on the memorial wall was a very nice touch. We are very thankful to you for making our difficult time that much more tolerable. I would highly recommend your services to everyone I know.

We came home and set up everything you gave us in Roxy”s memory and we can’t thank both of you enough!! Justin was so pleased with everything and couldn’t believe all you gave us!! The memories you captured for us are so thoughtful and were very unexpected.

Words cannot express how grateful we are for the love and support that Francine and Maria gave us during the loss of our precious cat Amber. Their kind words of compassion and excellent services helped us to go through this difficult time peacefully as we said goodbye to our lovely Amber at home, which would not have been the same without them. In addition, they also provided us with brochures, poems, angel pins and resources to help us cope with our loss, including phone calls to comfort our grieving hearts.
When we went to Paws at Rest, to pick up Amber’s ashes, Francine and Maria made the experience very memorable. We were overwhelmed with gratitude when we saw the memorial table for Amber, that was beautifully set up with an urn containing Amber’s ashes beside her framed picture with ‘Amber’s Song’ poem, her paw print mounted on a wooden plaque, a heart-shaped container with samples of her fur displaying all three colours of her calico coat, a lighted candle, an African violet plant with a Rainbow Bridge poem bookmark inserted and flowers, all laid on a napkin with Amber’s name beautifully hand-painted by Maria. All these items were later neatly placed in a bag for us to take home. They even provided us with an engraved garden stone urn which contained a portion of Amber’s ashes, which we could place in her favourite spot in our garden. We were then taken outside to a landscaped memorial garden, where we placed a brass plaque with Amber’s name engraved on a memorial wall. This was another unique moment that we will cherish forever. It was peaceful as we walked through the pet cemetery. Their comforting words and reassuring stories made this an unforgettable visit.
All of this didn’t end there. They even sent us a card, a month later, to show how much they care for our loss. Francine and Maria are the most compassionate people, who understand the grief of losing a pet, while treating pet parents and pets with the greatest respect.
Your excellent service is unsurpassable. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
